Why do I have to wait so long for you to start my project?
When I work on a branding project I throw my all into it. To allow me to do this I am only able to take on a couple of clients at a time so I can focus on a project and give it the dedication it requires. It also enables me to turn your project around in a shorter timeframe. I am usually booked up 2 months in advance.
How far in advance should I start thinking about my branding project?
Bearing in mind I can be booked up 2-3 months in advance I recommend you start thinking about your branding project 4-6 months before you want to launch. Bear in mind if you plan to apply for a trademark, work with a web designer, photographer or other service you will need to factor all this in a well. Creating your brand isn’t something which should be rushed. There is a lot of time and work involved.
How much does it cost to work with you?
Every client I work with is so different. The first thing we will do when you get in touch is have a call where we will talk about your vision and specific requirements for your business. You will then be sent a customised proposal specifically for your project. Branding projects start at £2,500 .
Can I spread the cost of my project?
Yes, most projects are split over 4 x 25% payments with the first being your deposit. The rest will be split monthly from the project start date. We can however workout a payment plan which suits you and your budget making working together more affordable for you.
I’m only a start-up so don’t have a big budget!
I understand we all have to start somewhere and in the beginning we don’t always have a big budget, if this is the case maybe there is a better suited designer for you. I believe it is worth investing in your brand identity as it can be the difference between appearing as an amateur startup and a professional established business. My minimum charge for basic branding is £725 (logo, colour & font).
Can I come back to you for advice or more design work later on?
Yes absolutely! Once I have worked on your brand identity I will know your business and brand inside out and will be able to advise and create designs that are consistent. I want to continue to support you as your business grows. I also offer discounted rates for clients who’s branding I have worked on.
Why can’t I just have a quick logo design?
There are plenty of designers who will create just a logo design for you and fairly cheaply if that is all you are looking for, but due to my experience in branding I look at the bigger picture and creating an actual brand. I work with businesses who are ready to invest in their brand identity and I believe a logo is only a small part of it. I carry out extensive background work before creating a logo to allow me to produce the best result and my best work. If I only create a logo I don’t feel like my job is done and you don’t benefit from my full expertise.
